Job Duties:
•Thread material through thermal processing equipment to initiate line setup
•Adjust straightener, sizing section rolls, and side pass rolls to ensure tubing is properly straightened and sized
•Operate control panels to start, monitor, and complete thermal processing of tubing string
•Perform dimensional and visual inspections on tubing samples at the start and end of each run
•Coordinate the collection and analysis of tubing samples to verify metallurgical properties and mechanical specifications
•Set and monitor equipment temperatures based on established heat history instructions
•Lead efficient product changeovers, coordinating activities with team members to minimize downtime
•Perform additional duties as assigned
•Follow all safety protocols and comply with applicable safety regulations
Requirements:
•High school diploma or GED required
•4–8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
•Proficient in writing routine reports and business correspondence
•Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
•Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
•Capable of resolving routine problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
