Full Time Temporary Utility Electric Meter Installer

We are conducting electric meter upgrades in the Carlsbad, NM area for Xcel Energy and are hiring Electric Meter Installers/Technicians! NO EXPERIENCE is required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you!

Position expected to end on/around December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for installing single phase electric meters by replacing an existing meter (change-out). The new meter and meter module are installed to automate the process of reading a meter for accurate consumption and billing.
