Fuel Oil Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a fuel oil truck to transport and deliver heating oil to residential and commercial customers

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- CT CDL Class A or B with Hazmat Endorsement

- Proficient in driving vehicles with manual transmissions

- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is desired

- Ability to lift heavy objects, pull heating oil hose and perform physical labor as needed

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Ability to operate different types of delivery vehicles, such as flatbeds, dump trucks, tankers, etc. is a plus

- Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
