SUMMARY OF POSITION

The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional and welcoming experience. This role handles incoming calls, greets clients, and performs basic administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering the phone with professionalism and courtesy,

- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming,

- Provide administrative support including scanning, filing, data entry, and basic document preparation according to company guidelines,

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective communication and coordination of administrative tasks,

- Complete other office duties and special projects as required by staff.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset,

- Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks,

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint),

- A self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently and with a team,

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks,

- Willingness to learn new skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
