Job Summary
Oversee foundry operations and ensure machines are functioning properly and on time. Lead and train (as necessary) foundry operators.
Responsibilities
•
Supervise daily operations of the production team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
•
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications and
•
Conduct regular quality inspections to identify any defects or areas for improvement in the production line.
•
Train and mentor team members on proper equipment operation, safety practices, and quality assurance techniques.
•
other departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.

Set up machine to start a production cycle

Ensure work area is clean and safe
•
Perform maintenance on machines.
•
Notify and correct any defects as permissible, if possible according to specifications
Qualifications
•
Experience in metal foundry operations and/or running a casting machine.
•
Understanding of general foundry principles.
•
Experience leading other team members.
