Forklift Driver - Shipping Department

About This Job

•

Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment

•

Examine shipment contents and compare with records packing slip to verify quantities of shipments

•

Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes

•

Receive payments from drivers (such as cheques)

•

Takes picture all incoming shipments and outgoing products, reports any damages/issues to QC manager immediately

•

Contact customer if any damages are apparent on incoming shipments, they need to grant us permission to continue or not.

•

Maintain shipping and receiving area

•

Make sure each product in the yard tagged

•

Record measurements of special pricing (3D, cage, ladders ext.)

•

Shipper to complete a final quality check before loading if he damages any product, notify supervisor.

•

8 hours shift – Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Depending on Business Needs

•

Pay Rate: Starting from $19.50

•

Wage Revision as follows: after 3 months: $19.68, after 1 year: $20.38, after 2 years: $22.20, after 3 years: $24.25

•

Bonus program after 6 months on monthly basis
