AmeriTex Pipe&Products is looking for EXPERIENCED forklift operators with heavy equipment experience.
Location: 1750 Wall Street Rd Gunter TX
Hours: 5am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday and select Saturdays
Pay: $19 -$20 overtime and weekly pay
This role is responsible for loading and unloading tools and materials in specific areas within the manufacturing facility and the yard. Responsible for ensuring equipment and/or product is set in its designated area(s) in a safe & timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
•Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
•Always wears the assigned PPE and follows the PPE guidelines set by the business.
•Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
•Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool(s) if he/she has not been trained to operate.
•Operates industrial vehicles and equipment following the manufacturing and safety guidelines set by the business.
•Communicates and escalates equipment failure or malfunction immediately to the maintenance team.
•Inspects the industrial vehicle before using it and reports misfunctions immediately to the immediate supervisor or the maintenance team.
•Transports raw materials, parts, and finished goods to designated area(s).
•Moves product and/or materials manually as required.
•Loads and unloads designated trailers and/or route trucks.
•Maintains all finished goods organized and accessible when working on the yard.
•Follows LOTO and OSHA requirements outlined by the EHS department and based on the Standard Operating Procedures for this equipment.
•Performs other duties assigned by the Department Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or a member of the Management Team.
EDUCATION
•High school diploma or GED desirable but not required.
EXPERIENCE
•At least 12 months of certification as an Industrial Vehicle Driver.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
•LOTO Certification desirable but not required.
•LOTO Certification will be provided by AmeriTex after the Team Member joins the business.
Team Member must be qualified to operate machinery by AmeriTex Pipe & Products by completing training in classroom setting and observed operation of specific equipment prior to being considered “Qualified to Operate” any Powered Industrial Truck or other Heavy Machinery.
