Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, oversight, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and NFPA standards, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Responsibilities
•Lead and oversee fire sprinkler installation field labor teams.
•Lead large jobs with multiple crews.
•Install and test fire suppression equipment in new or retro-fit projects.
•Function as WFP representative on the job site, working closely with GC, other trades, and Wolf superintendents
•Manage material and be forward thinking.
•Supervise junior technicians and assist in training new team members on best practices.
•Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of installations and repairs.
•Conduct routine inspections and testing of existing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with NFPA standards.
•Prepare reports on quality control, system status, maintenance activities, and any required repairs.
•Participate in project scheduling to align installation timelines with overall construction plans.
Qualifications
•Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
•Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician, Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
•Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, including installation techniques and maintenance procedures.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to fire sprinkler systems.
•Familiarity with NFPA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
•Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
