Fire Protection Technician

G.R. Bell and Associates is currently looking for Fire Protection Technicians with or without experience in fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fixed fire suppression, portable fire extinguishers and/or backflow preventers. We currently have work throughout DFW, TX and surrounding areas. G.R. Bell and Associates is looking to hire an individual willing to learn and grow within the company ideally to build toward a career. Starting rate is $15 an hour with room to grow into the 20’s possible more with time as career and the company blossoms. We will also cover the costs of licensing/training courses pertinent to the position, in addition to travel expenses, etc. Yes, there are times a licensed technician and/or employee will be out of town for a night to few nights out of the year depending on the work taking place be it inspections that are out of town or a new install/repair project.

The right Fire Protection Technician candidate must be able to be open to learning new tasks, follow directions to work safely; as well as, collaborate ideas with other associates to accomplish our overall achievements. Candidate will assist in testing and inspections of fire alarm systems with supervision of licensed technician while training to eventually test and achieve your own license. In addition the installing, repairing, even design of fire alarm systems and other fire protection systems with further experience or past work history will be included.

Types of Fire Protection Technicians that G.R. Bell and Associates is looking for include and ideally have work experience with;

System Sensor, Simplex, Potter and etc.

Backflow (BPAT)

Buckeye, Protex II, Gaurdian and/or similar systems

The qualified Fire Alarm Installer must: * Pass a background check and drug screen * Possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's license * Submit professional references to verify work history
