Position Summary
As a Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Service Sales Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving RELAY’s service growth. This is a consultative, solutions-focused sales role where you’ll develop and close service agreements for fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs. You’ll work closely with operations and technical teams to deliver what we promise and build long-term customer relationships that align with our values of trust, reliability, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
•Generate new service business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and targeted follow-ups
•Conduct customer site visits to assess existing systems and identify service needs
•Propose tailored solutions for inspection, maintenance, and repair agreements across fire alarm and sprinkler systems
•Partner with technicians, service coordinators, and estimators to ensure accurate proposals and timely execution
•Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts while pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
•Manage your sales pipeline using RELAY’s CRM and meet assigned monthly and annual sales targets
•Stay informed on industry codes (e.g., NFPA 25, 72) and local AHJ requirements
What You Bring
•3–5+ years of B2B service sales experience, ideally in the fire protection or building services industry
•Working knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, NFPA standards, and inspection/testing requirements
•Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
•Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable managing your own territory and time
•Experience with CRM tools and a metrics-driven sales process
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits
