Schwob seeks a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our growing Corporate Finance team. Combining an understanding of finance, strong practical knowledge of financial statements, and the ability to use data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key decisions, drive growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved. This position will produce and analyze recurring reporting, variance analysis, and general financial analysis / ad hoc projects to drive value across the enterprise.

Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Provide support for financial analysis and insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
·
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
·
Monitor budget performance and analyze deviations from plan.
·
Collaborate with various departments to gather data and ensure accurate forecasting.
·
Aid in preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
·
Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
·
Support special financial projects and initiatives as required.
·
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics required
· Advanced knowledge of excel. Previous financial analysis experience required
· Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and general knowledge of accounting principles
