Position Summary:
RESA Power is currently seeking a Finance Intern who is interested in pairing their education with on-the-job training and experience. This position will support the current Finance team and will be responsible for assigned projects and some day-to-day administration of Finance programs and/or policies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in finance.
Job Responsibilities
•Complete assigned projects on time. Projects may consist of:
•Assist in day-to-day functions of Finance
•Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint or other documents
•Assist in financial data analysis and reporting
•Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
•Conduct research on financial trends and market conditions
•Assist with financial audits and compliance tasks
•Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed
•Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Qualifications
•Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Flexible and innovative; the ideal candidate brings a positive, high-energy attitude with the desire to learn many aspects of Finance
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to tailor communication style with all levels in the organization.
•Action oriented with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Work proactively with other team members.
•Prioritize activities for the best interest of the team when working on joint projects.
•Handle client requests and deliver quality solutions if able, or escalate the request to a more senior team member
•Openly share new ideas and information with other team members.

•Develop a well-rounded understanding of Finance operations and workflows.
•Gain experience in project collaboration and technical documentation.
•Build analytical and problem-solving skills in a professional setting.

Additional Information
Type: Internship
Location: Hybrid - mix of in office and remote
Compensation: $20 an hour
Relocation: No relocation for this role.
