Position: Field Supervisor
Job Summary:
WTG is seeking a Field Supervisor in the San Antonio area. WTG is looking for motivated applicants with knowledge of natural gas utilities and operations. This position will office out of Lytle, Tx and cover the Austin, San Antonio, Uvalde, and Eagle Pass areas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Operations Efficiency and production oversight.
•Track and troubleshoot lost and unaccounted for gas.
•Oversee day to day duties such as construction, maintenance, meter reading, and emergency response.
•Compliance oversight including, but not limited to leak surveys, regulator inspections, emergency valve inspection, cathodic protection, pipeline patrols, and atmospheric corrosion.
•Customer support and communication.
•Ensure operator qualifications are accurately assigned, maintained, and kept up to date in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
•Supervise, train, mentor, and assist employees performing pipeline construction, measurement, and maintenance activities on natural gas distribution and transmission lines.
•Implement policies, procedures, and standards pushed down from compliance department and upper management.
•Represent Company to regulatory agencies, contractors, customers, and the general public regarding company matters.
•Coordinate with Marketing team and advise regarding new development and growth opportunities.
•Payroll/time sheet approval
•Work in indoor and outdoor environments. Supervisors are expected to assist with or perform field duties as needed to aid in day-to-day operations.
•All other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
•Valid driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements
•Drug Test, Clear driving record (insurable)
•Ability to explain complex operations to people with little to no knowledge of the subject
•Basic computer skills to create reports and presentations
•Work in indoor and outdoor settings.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and three years of related experience or
•General educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
•Fieldwork is required, and you must be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
•This role will involve occasional travel to different company locations.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
