Field Service Technician

Our Langley branch, a team of 24 people, including engineers, service technicians, power unit builders, and sales, is looking to add a service technician to our team.

Join Norcan Fluid Power, a leading provider of hydraulic solutions in Western Canada. We’re hiring a Field Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems across the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas.

Come add on to our team of 9 service technicians, supported by our group of engineers, service and managers to help continue servicing customers throughout the lower mainland.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical skills, field service experience, and a passion for tackling problems head-on.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems at customer locations

- Service and start up hydraulic power units, pumps, valves, motors and cylinders

- Maintain service truck, tools, and equipment

- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and parts teams to best help get customers up and running.

- Have a focus on safety and professionalism in all field work

- Support Norcan and its team members continue with their reputation of hydraulics in Western Canada

What You Bring

- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

- Ideal for a Millwright, heavy-duty mechanic, or hydraulic technician background

- Aptitude and attitude to bring your A game in all jobs

- Drive to help fix, repair and find a solution

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:

- Industrial Hydraulic repair: 3 years (required)
