Field Service Technician III - IV

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all technical areas of Field Services customer support. Providing technical and mechanical services support to all internal and external customers in settings such as workshops, compressor stations, process plants, etc. The incumbent is also expected to be an expert in the following:

Included in Level IV are Advanced Technicians, Instrument Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians / Product Specialists with advanced education and time in service* 15 years. These technicians are specialists / SME’s and should be trained as such.

Qualifications:

+ Cooper Bessemer, Ajax, Superior Engine, Superior Compressor, Gemini Compressor, Clark, Waukesha, Dresser, Caterpillar

- Mastery of Advanced Shop Math Skills

- Mastery of Computer skills – Word & Excel

+ Mastery of product documentation e.g., engineering standards, blueprints, drawings, schematics, Bill of Materials, Service bulletins…etc. + Advanced leadership skills + Mastery of Engine Balancing + Mastery Web Deflection/Alignment + Product Knowledge
