Field Service Technician – HVAC / Load Control

To support our growth, we are seeking a Field Service Technician – HVAC / Load Control team member. In this role you’ll install and repair 24V wire connections, smart thermostats and load control devices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair the 24V connection to load control device (LCD) to re-establish signal

- Install and wire load control devices (LCDs)

- Reset and troubleshoot load control devices as needed

- Perform field repairs on LCDs and related HVAC wiring systems

- Conduct basic diagnostics and verify device connectivity

- Document service completion via mobile app or work order system

- Interact professionally with customers and utility partners

- Regular maintenance and inventory checks of products, equipment, materials and supplies as applicable

Skills/Requirements:

- 1 year experience in any of the following categories or roles: residential electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC), home alarm installations, low-control devices, low voltage, residential building trades or other equivalent experience

- High School graduate or equivalent (GED, Technical Diploma, Certificate of Completion, etc.)

- Proficient in English and Spanish (speaking and writing)

- Possess a valid and current state driver’s license with clean driving record and dependable mode of transportation (public transportation, personal vehicle)

- Pass a criminal history background check

- Excellent written and oral communications skills

- Ability to use tablet-based technology

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
