We are currently seeking a Field Service Coordinator to join our Red Deer Service team. This position is responsible for coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring efficient workflow across the Field Service department. Day to day, you’ll manage scheduling, customer communication, and critical administrative processes that keep our operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Receiving service calls, creating service orders, and scheduling/dispatching technicians, including managing the on-call schedule.

- Coordinating people, resources, and workflows to ensure jobs meet client timelines and service expectations.

- Communicating with customers via phone, email, and meetings, including providing job status updates.

- Reviewing and approving service hours, time tickets, invoices, and related service documentation.

- Maintaining accurate customer history, service agreements, and database records.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Experience working with Field & Shop Service Technicians, including scheduling and preparing work orders

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and client-relation skills

- High level of initiative and adaptability in fast-changing environments

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

Preferred

- Power generation and Diesel/Natural Gas engine knowledge

- Experience with MTU, CAT, Cummins, and Kohler generator parts lookups

- SAP/service order data management experience

- Project management experience
