Position Specific Description

Lone Star is currently seeking an experienced High Voltage Lead Technician to support their field operation group. Lone Star is a rate-regulated transmission service provider in Texas, which own and operate approximately 360 miles of high-voltage transmission lines and associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will travel as needed within Lone Star system. Main office for this position will be in Mansfield, TX.

Job Overview

This position provides daily supervision and decision-making of tasks for various levels of HV Technicians in their work in the areas of field operations, collection system construction and maintenance, transmission maintenance, substation maintenance, engineering, and troubleshooting support. This position provides field project planning, leadership and management, and contract coordinator oversite within the fleet with minimal supervision while ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to the power grid. This position is a technical resource to lower level technicians providing technical guidance and support.
