Ace Resources, LLC is seeking a Field Chemical Specialist to support our client’s operations in Barnhart, TX. This position will play a critical role in managing chemical programs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient use of production chemicals.
· Model and communicate company’s core values and safe work expectations to vendors and field personnel.
· Support and adhere to all company HSE policies.
· Serve as the point of contact for chemical-related issues between vendors and company field operations.
· Address, resolve, or escalate chemical issues to the appropriate personnel.
· Manage production chemical processes, including repair and installation of chemical pumps.
· Maintain inventory of pumps, parts, and repair data.
· Approve chemical invoices and verify accurate billing.
· Collaborate with field staff to review monthly reports and follow up on required tasks.
· Host monthly chemical reviews with vendors and company’s chemical team and lead weekly team meetings.
· Ensure proper chemical hookup for all new wells.
· Maintain adequate chemical inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure recommended pumping.
· Oversee maintenance, installation, and monitoring of chemical automation equipment.
· Supervise vendor well sampling and testing (coupon, water, oil, residual, ATP).
· Manage paraffin treatments and coordinate with vendors to resolve rejected oil tanks.
· Lead chemical-related field operations, ensuring compliance and optimal chemical usage.
· Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement improvement plans for team members.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and accurate recordkeeping.
· Foster collaboration across departments to integrate chemical field activities with broader operations.
· Provide technical support and leadership during field emergencies, ensuring safe and timely resolution.
· High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of production chemical experience required.
· Lease operating or related field experience preferred.
