IAS is seeking an energetic and flexible self-starter to fill a full-time position as a Farm Laborer.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and daily operational tasks across a variety of ranch and farm equipment, irrigation systems, and fencing. The role requires effective communication with family owners and the ability to quickly learn and execute diverse hands-on duties in the field, shop, and seasonal conditions.

Position Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, machinery, and power tools

- Fence evaluation and repair

- Daily communication with family owners

- Field/Pasture irrigation and piping maintenance

- Operate and maintain ranch and shop equipment and machinery

- Winter snow removal

- Maintain irrigation pivots and pumps

- General farm labor-related duties

- General shop maintenance

- The ability to learn quickly and perform job duties within 60 days of hire

Position Requirements:

To be a strong fit for this opportunity, you will have:

- Previous farm/ranch/shop experience operating equipment and machinery

- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

- Be able to work out in the weather at all times of the year

- Be able to follow owner directives, company policies, and procedures

- Be able to work a flexible schedule with some weekends and evenings

- Be able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and kneel to repair equipment

- Be able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day

- Provide strong problem-solving abilities

- Be able to work independently

- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

- Local candidates preferred
