Facilities Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment.

- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.

- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.

- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.

- Conduct electrical troubleshooting using tools such as an ohmmeter.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repairs performed.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.

- Experience in residential painting is a plus but not mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.

- Ability to maintain equipment through regular inspections and timely repairs.

- Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.

- Experience reading and interpreting schematics related to mechanical systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
