Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves building and assembling components for various projects, primarily in a construction site environment. The Fabricator/Welder will work with various tools and machinery, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.
Hourly pay range includes hourly pay and the estimated value of bi-annual bonuses.*
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment to prep metal components.
- Assemble fabricated parts according to project requirements, ensuring structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum, 3 years experience in welding and metal fabrication, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with operating fabrication tools.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Knowledge of machining processes is a plus.
