Department Overview

The Coworkers of Electric Operations ensure the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Operations is responsible for every aspect of PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively.

Job Responsibilities

- Leads complex or midsize projects.

- Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels.

- Develops and manages department expense budget. Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances.

- Communicates project status to all stakeholders.

- Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues.

- Presents findings and makes recommendations to management.

- Performs analysis on complex data models requiring customized reports and data and presents recommendations.

The position is hybrid and will work partially from your home office, with on-site days at the Oakland General Office as business needs require. The successful candidate can live anywhere within the PG&E service territory.

The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.* Pay Range display: Bay Area – $122,000 to $173,800 annually Qualifications Minimum:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

- Job-related experience, 8 years
