Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in accordance with industry codes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication techniques and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in compliance with relevant codes and standards.

•

Fabricate pipe sections using appropriate tools and techniques.

•

Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions for piping installations.

•

Rig pipes and fittings as necessary to facilitate installation.

•

Perform stick welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) as required for pipe connections.

•

Plumb piping systems to ensure proper alignment and functionality.

•

Conduct routine inspections of piping systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations.

•

Proficient in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipefitting tasks.

•

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with pipefitting work.

•

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Pay: $26.33 - $29.00 per hour
