You may have also acquired the following skills:

- Mechanical and construction experience (including piping, electrical knowledge, equipment layout and testing and commissioning of new processes and equipment).

- Machine design and manufacturing methods experience (Process equipment design, HVAC system design, Machining, Sheetmetal, Welding, Forming etc.)

- Able to work autonomously and receives minimal assistance and instruction on most assignments and solutions.

- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data (meetings, email, presentations, customer deliverables) and is able to adapt with flexibility.

- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Experienced Mechanical Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. You’ll join a team of diverse engineers to develop and demonstrate innovative solutions and value-added technologies focusing on supplying fuel, fuel components, and fabrication processes and facilities for next generation nuclear power plants. These solutions will ultimately be deployed into a new, state of the art, advanced reactor fuel fabrication facility designed and constructed at the Richland site. Your work will include:

- Performs non-standard engineering, varied engineering, and new-to-you assignments

- Typically, in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events.

- Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications for tasks not previously performed.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $92,000 - $124,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
