Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. We are looking for someone who can get to the job and knows what to do. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and the ability to work on various commercial projects. This role requires expertise in reading schematics, utilizing various tools, and adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. Pay based on Experience.

Duties

•

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks including installation and troubleshooting.

•

Conduct tests using ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

•

Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with low voltage systems.

•

Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local building codes during all installations and repairs.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

•

Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role in the electrical field.

•

Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.

•

Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications in commercial environments.

•

Strong understanding of electrical schematics and the ability to read technical documents.

•

Experience in frame carpentry is a plus but not required.

•

Knowledge of NEC regulations is essential for ensuring compliance on all projects.

•

Must be able to bend pipe!!
