We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to partner directly with our two cofounders. In this role, you will serve as a strategic thought partner while also ensuring the day-to-day operations and administrative needs of the leadership team run smoothly. You will help prioritize and execute critical initiatives, streamline workflows, and provide the organizational backbone that allows the founders to focus on growth and strategy. Over time, we envision this role evolving to take ownership of HR and people operations as the organization scales.
We are a primarily remote company, but we maintain an office in New York City. For this role, we are prioritizing candidates who are based in or near New York and are able to work from the office up to two to three days per week.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for the cofounders, helping to translate vision into action
- Drive alignment on priorities, ensuring leadership is focused on the highest-impact initiatives
- Build and refine workflows, processes, and systems to support a rapidly scaling team
- Manage and coordinate complex scheduling across time zones and continents
- Represent the founders in communications with partners, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Support administrative functions, including travel coordination, document management, and onboarding/offboarding
- Use modern productivity tools such as Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, DocuSign, Zoom, and AI assistants to improve efficiency
- Bring clarity and structure to the inherent ambiguity and speed of an early-stage startup- 7+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, EA-to-CEO, or similar role within a founder-led or early-stage startup environment
- Comfortable balancing strategic projects with tactical execution
- Adept at creating structure where little exists and iterating quickly as priorities evolve
- Professional, polished, and confident in representing leadership externally with high-profile partners and investors
- Tech-savvy with experience using next-generation tools; familiarity with Egnyte or Loom is a plus
- Energized by ambiguity, chaos, and the urgency of startup life
- Pharma or health-tech experience is helpful but not required
- Motivated by the mission of making healthcare more affordable and accessible
