Excavator Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will a minimum of 5 years' experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Duties

- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites.

- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.

- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.

- Class 1 License and TDG would be an asset but not necessary.

Experience

- A minimum 5 years' experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on excavators.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively.

- Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable.

- Experience in Agriculture and Irrigation is necessary.

- A valid class 5 driver’s license is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
