The intern/co-op will support the planning, coordination, and execution of the Conexus Collaboration Week (CCW)
a cross-agency event aimed at strengthening communication, coordination, and continuity practices across industry partners. Under the guidance of the Event Specialist, the intern will contribute to logistics, communications, documentation, and post-event analysis for CCW and other IE events. This is a hands-on opportunity to assist in the operational delivery of a high-visibility industry event.
1. Support the planning and execution of Conexus Collaboration Week (CCW) by assisting with the management of event logistics, including scheduling, registration, room/space coordination and digital platform setup (e.g., Microsoft Teams, PheedLoop, Stripe POS).
2. Assist in drafting and distributing event communications, including meeting invitations, agendas, reminders, and follow-ups. Act as a support to the liaison with internal and external stakeholders for coordination and updates.
3. Take accurate notes during sessions, help develop summary reports, update tracking sheets and contribute to the After-Action Report (AAR) by consolidating feedback and key outcomes.
Able to manage details, track multiple tasks, and support event timelines efficiently.
Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders.
Works effectively with others, is collaborative, and open to feedback

Responds well to changing priorities and remains calm under pressure during live events.
This role is based at the Conexus office in Toronto with the opportunity to work remotely 1-3 days per week.
