ESG Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for the success of ESG accounts by managing the overall relationship, but working closely with other departments and teams within the organization. Duties include, but are not limited to onboarding support, implementation, transition plans, account planning, project management, research, client engagement and support, leading both internal and external calls, and maintaining overall client satisfaction. In addition to daily responsibilities, this person will be the project lead for all account reviews as well as planning/executing projects to help with client needs. They will be required to both effectively manage their work and seamlessly meet corporate and portfolio-wide needs. Travel is required.


Key Responsibilities

Project lead for client account review processes and presentations

Relationship management with client executives and senior management
Leading internal and client calls
Research and problem solving
Client engagement, stakeholder analysis and communication
Project management
Coordinate and work with internal teams between the various ESG departments as well as Conservice account managers, billing managers and data integrity team.
Use ESG & commercial real estate subject matter expertise to confer with customers and end users on desired features to be prioritized and built into the Goby technology
Keep a pulse on the market, including local, statewide, or national legislation, such as energy disclosure ordinances or benchmarking performance requirements; work with the product team, and customers on how to best productize these offerings
Be the advocate for Conservice and the Product team with regards to market demand for new features and functionality that will enrich our technology and increase our value
Review the Goby platform with customers periodically to gather feedback on what works, what might be extraneous, and how to better organize
Participate in Product roadmap review sessions where features and functionality are prioritized with Product senior leadership team.

Effective Communication: Exhibit the ability to set and manage client's expectations, along with the ability to communicate comprehensively and cohesively in written and verbal form
Project management/project planning: Creation of solid project plans that thrive on teamwork and usage of internal expertise and collaboration; must have effective communication and analytical skills

Operational Understanding: Meet client needs through a strong grasp of processes, technology, and objective use of data; acknowledgment of the importance of expectation setting, ownership and timelines of both internal and external projects
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with management, the entire ESG department, account managers, Synergy managers, as well as other Conservice departments as needed
Relationship management: Must work well with others and handle difficult client-facing situations successfully
Contract management: Attention to detail with intimate knowledge of client contract and scope requirements; ability to identify and flag scope creep and out of scope requests.
Technology: Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with Asana a plus
Subject Matter Expertise: ESG and real estate experience a plus
PMP or other similar credential a plus


Location:

This position can be 100% remote, in-office, or hybrid, depending on the applicant's preference. Travel is required.
