The ERP Manager is responsible for leading, maintaining, and continuously improving Dajcor Aluminum’s newly implemented CSI/Syteline ERP system. This role ensures system stability, data integrity, user adoption, cross-functional process alignment, and ongoing enhancement of system capabilities across both Canadian and U.S. operations. The position acts as the primary liaison between operations, finance, IT, engineering, and external implementation partners to maximize ERP value, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Serve as the primary system owner and administrator for CSI/Syteline across all Dajcor locations.
- Manage system configuration, parameter setups, user roles, permissions, and security groups.
- Oversee scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of background tasks (IDOs, replications, MRP, APS, etc.).
- Maintain integration points with ancillary systems (MES, quality systems, EDI, barcoding/scanning, CRM, BI tools, payroll/HRIS, etc.).
- Work with IT to manage environments (test, pilot, production), versioning, and patch/upgrade cycles.
- Partner with functional leads (extrusion, anodizing, fabrication, shipping, finance, supply chain) to refine business processes and ensure alignment with CSI capabilities.
- Identify and drive system-enabled improvements to throughput, scheduling accuracy, WIP visibility, costing, inventory accuracy, and capacity utilization.
- Lead root-cause analyses for transactional errors, data mismatches, or system process failures.
- Maintain and improve workflows, forms, alerts, dashboards, and reports supporting daily operations. Provide day-to-day support for end users across departments including production, customer service, planning, finance, purchasing, and maintenance.
- Develop and deliver training materials, SOPs, video modules, and quick reference guides.
- Create a culture of system accountability, data accuracy, and adherence to standardized workflows.
- Coordinate change requests, assess business impact, and implement approved system changes.
- Support employee onboarding with ERP-related competencies.
- Ensure accuracy of master data (items, BOMs, routings, customers, vendors, resources, cost sets, etc.).
- Build and maintain queries, IDOs, custom forms, and tailored reports in CSI.
- Partner with finance to ensure correct data flows into costing, forecasting, and profitability models.
- Support analytics, KPI dashboards, and operational performance reporting (BI tools, APS dashboards, capacity planning).
- Lead or support ERP related enhancement projects, module rollouts, new functionality adoption, and future phases of ERP deployment.
- Serve as internal PM for CSI improvements, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders & external consultants.
- Document requirements, user stories, workflows, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive post-implementation stabilization and roadmap planning for months 3/6/12 after go-live.
- Support integrations to robotics, automation, scanning/barcoding, Phoenix APS, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure system processes comply with internal controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements, and financial accuracy standards.
- Maintain system logs, audit trails, change documentation, and user access provisioning.
- Work with the Controller/CFO on governance over financial modules, costing, approvals, and inventory valuation.
- Ensure data retention and backup procedures meet IT and cybersecurity standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years (preferred 7+ years) of ERP administration experience, preferably with CSI/Syteline or similar manufacturing ERP.- Experience in discrete manufacturing (extrusion, fabrication, machining, or automotive/aerospace supply chain an asset).
- Strong understanding of master data, MRP/APS, shop floor control, costing, purchasing, and inventory workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL, IDOs, XML, forms personalization, and basic scripting (strong asset).
- Experience working with external implementation partners and integrators.
