- Responsible for the Epicor implementation, management, configuration, and maintenance of Petersen Industries’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Play a crucial role in ensuring the ERP software operates effectively to meet business needs and streamline processes. Collaboration with various teams, including IT, finance, supply chain, and other departments to optimize the system’s performance.
- Responsible for transition from legacy software to new ERP Software, Epicor.
· Work directly with ERP vendor, consultants, and Petersen’s ERP Implementation team.
· Coordinate integration of the ERP system with other business applications and databases to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Facilitate ERP Implementation Project meetings, addressing timeline and status of project.
- Work directly with Petersen’s IT Administrator.
- Configure and customize the ERP system to align with Petersen’s specific business requirements, workflows, and processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end users on how to use the ERP system efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee data integrity, accuracy, and security within the ERP system. Conduct regular data audits and implement data cleansing procedures.
- Plan and execute ERP system updates, patches, and upgrades in coordination with the IT Administrator and ERP vendor.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize system processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose enhancements to maximize the benefits of the ERP system.
- Experience and knowledge of Epicor Systems software required
- Successful ERP Implementation experience and results
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as an ERP Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in working with ERP software.
- Knowledge of ERP modules such as finance, human resources, inventory and procurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work Collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with data management and security best practices
