Equipment Operator

Rogers Group is seeking candidates for an HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR position for our Deason Quarry located in Shelbyville, TN . The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – dozer, track hoe, loader, haul truck, and skid steer, and others. This individual will also be required to work on the ground and in the plant. They must have a strong commitment to safety excellence.

JOB DETAILS

- Day Shift

- Wages depend on experience . Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have a dedication to safe work practices.

- At least two years of proficient experience operating heavy equipment preferred.

- Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – dozer, track hoe, loader, haul truck, skid steer, and others.

- Willing and able to work on the ground and in the plant as needed.

- Able and willing to assist with fixed plant maintenance.

- Able to operate heavy equipment with precision and excellence in a variety of terrains and conditions.

- Performing various production duties.

- Complete required daily inspections, light maintenance, greasing, and fueling of heavy equipment.

- May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform any other duties assigned and/or assist other areas as necessary.

- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as may be needed.

- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
