Under broad guidance, the P3 Technician performs field duties of a technical nature to meet regulatory requirements relating to pretreatment and industrial wastewater, intended to protect public health and the sewerage system. The P3 Technician works in both a team environment and independently to collect a range of environmental monitoring and permit compliance samples, perform field analyses, and perform routine site inspections.
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or related science as approved
- Education equivalency equals two years of directly related professional experience for every year of education not completed. The stated experience is in addition to any experience used to meet the education equivalency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or related science as approved
- One (1) year of applicable experience to include experience with analytical cleaning methods, equipment, troubleshooting, and processes related to environmental and wastewater samples.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence
