Environmental Supervisor

Job Summary:

As the Environmental Supervisor, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader making sure our operations stay safe, sustainable, and compliant with environmental regulations. From monitoring waste streams to guiding a field team, you’ll blend science, leadership, and problem-solving to keep our impact low and our standards high.

What You Will Do:

You’ll lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals, coordinating daily tasks like inspections, compliance checks, and field assessments. You’ll oversee sampling and analysis of soil, water, and air, manage inventories and equipment, and partner with contractors and vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s supporting audits, preparing reports, or responding to environmental emergencies, you’ll be at the center of it all—helping us stay compliant with NRC, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and OSHA standards while building a culture where sustainability and safety come first.

We’d Love to Hear From People With:

- An associate degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field - 1+ years of leadership experience in environmental, laboratory, or waste management roles

- Hands-on experience with environmental sampling, compliance, and regulations

- Strong communication and organizational skills to keep teams aligned and operations compliant

The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

A Successful Candidate Brings:

- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field

- More extensive supervisory experience in environmental compliance or production support settings

- Technical skills in environmental testing and equipment calibration

- A proactive mindset for solving field issues and driving continuous improvement

- A strong background in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments , where environmental compliance and safety were critical

An active “Q” clearance

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
