Job Summary

The Marathon El Paso Refinery is seeking an Environmental Specialist/Engineer. The position reports to the Environmental Manager and will be part of a team of experienced environmental professionals. The Environmental Specialist will perform a variety of tasks to support and ensure environmental compliance across refinery operations. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, leading and supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:* Ensure assigned environmental compliance programs are in conformance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Education, Experience and Skills* Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)

Preferred Qualifications* Environmental experience in petrochemical industry is preferred.
