Compensation:
Hourly starting range $18 - $25, Commensurate to Skills and Experience
Hours:
Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Maas Energy Works is the leading developer and operator of agricultural waste-to-energy systems in the United States. The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas-powered renewable energy generation systems on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking an EC Administrator to join our Environmental Commodities department. The EC Administrator will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a portfolio of pathways within a variety of renewable fuels programs by managing administrative tasks and providing support to team members. This includes compiling documents for the initial application, submitting any addendums to the applications, and generating renewable attributes due to the pathway. This will apply to currently existing pathways, as well as future pathways. - Compile and submit Temporary Pathway Applications to CA LCFS, OR CFS, WA CFS, and similar programs on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain and update supporting documentation for each fuel pathway, ensuring all materials are accurate and audit-ready.
- Prepare and submit documentation for Clean Counts applications.
- Facilitate registration of new project in state fuel pathway portals, coordinating required documents and signatures.
- Initiate and manage monthly correspondence with California dairies to collect herd counts and utility bills needed for regulatory reporting.
- Verify and record all incoming data accurately for use in compliance and credit generation processes.
- Update automated Power Automate flows monthly for herd-number email notifications and related tasks.
- Manage and maintain the Environmental Commodities SharePoint page, ensuring all files, records, and resources are organized, accessible, and up to date.
- Organize and coordinate department meetings, conferences, and events.
- Prepare, format, and distribute department correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes, capturing key action items and decisions.
- Track outstanding action items and proactively follow up to ensure timely completion of pending requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, accounting, computer programming, or similar field preferred but not required.
- Proven administration experience.
- Exceptional organizational, documentation, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and confident communication style.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must be proficient in English.
