The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the environmental technician, the environmental officer has the following responsibilities:
•Participates in field sampling campaigns to carry out the Nunavik Nickel Project monitoring program.
•Sends samples to laboratories, monitors analyze and results and maintains databases.
•Performs maintenances on measurement instruments and assured its efficiency.
•Participate on construction site surveillance;
•Performs other environmental tasks.
Qualifications
•Undergraduate diploma in science, ecology, or environment.
•Experience in field environmental work - an asset.
•Good general physical condition to perform field work.
•Strong communication skills both oral and written
Assets
•Bilingual (French and English).
•Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
