Entry Level Pipe Welder/Tacker

This is a job designed for entry level. Are you about to graduate welding school or have a bit of TIG experience? This is the ideal place to start to build into other paths.

We need 1-2 individuals to help at the fitting tables. They will tack pieces together and assist a pipe fitter in preparing materials for welding. Option to test into pipe welder. It is preferred to pass a 2" tig roll weld on pipe. This is a entry level position designed for individuals not yet ready to fully move into pipe welding. If you have welding experience but no pipe experience it is a great opportunity.

This is inside a heated facility. At least 40 hours if not 50 hours per week with anything over 40 as 1.5 times rate.

We are a small family ran business that opened in 2004. We started with around 12-14 employees and have grown since then. We try to be fair to our employees and give opportunites for advancement when possible. We are not the type of company to dismiss someone for no reason. We've had many employees who've worked here till they retired. There is no travel so you'll be home in the evenings with your family.
