Entry-Level Petroleum Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Petroleum Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will contribute to various engineering projects, supporting exploration, production, and operational activities across multiple disciplines. Duties

- Assist in project scheduling and coordination to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks

- Support operations on oil rigs and related facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency

- Utilize GIS tools for mapping and data analysis related to exploration and production sites

- Apply ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance during system design and fabrication processes

- Create detailed CAD drawings for system components, layouts, and infrastructure projects

- Contribute to process engineering activities including flow optimization and system troubleshooting

- Support geotechnical engineering assessments for site stability and foundation design

- Participate in drafting technical documents, reports, and system specifications

- Engage in project engineering tasks such as planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, chemical, industrial, and geotechnical engineers to develop innovative solutions for oil & gas extraction challenges

- Gain experience in horizontal drilling techniques and control systems used in modern oilfield operations

Skills

- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical knowledge relevant to oilfield equipment

- Familiarity with project scheduling software and system design methodologies

- Experience or knowledge of GIS applications, CAD software, and drafting techniques

- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure vessels and piping systems

- Basic understanding of process engineering concepts within the oil & gas industry

- Awareness of geotechnical engineering considerations for site development

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation

- Competence in technical writing for reports, procedures, and safety documentation

- Exposure or familiarity with horizontal drilling operations and control systems

- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation

- Language: Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
