Engineering Support Technician

Murray Latta Progressive Machine provides turnkey industrial machine solutions to a variety of heavy industrial customers located primarily in the lower mainland area.

We provide a full spectrum of custom machine manufacturing, repair and installation services including project management, design, steel fabrication and welding, manual and CNC machining, as well as on-site installation and millwright services.

Murray Latta Progressive Machine has been in business since 1918, currently employs over 120 people and is based in Surrey BC.

Role Summary

Support design and shop teams by ensuring accuracy in technical documentation, ERP entries, work orders, routing, and bill of materials. Serve as a bridge between engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

- Compile manufacturing packages using SolidWorks, DXF, and ERP.

- Manage document version control and change processes.

- Assist in-site measurements and documentation for field services.

- Liaise with internal teams, customers, and vendors.

- Uphold safety standards and support process improvement.

Qualifications

- Diploma in relevant technical field.

- SolidWorks and ERP (Syspro) experience.

- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
