We are seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer for the role of Engineering Manager - Operations & Sales to join our team. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving business development efforts and ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and excellence within our organization.
- Ensure compliance with FAA and other regulatory agency requirements, including FAR Part 145 (Repair Station) and FAA-PMA Part 21 regulations.
- Lead and manage daily operations, including engineering, production, sales and marketing functions.
- Serve as the Accountable Manager within the first year, assuming regulatory oversight for the repair station.
- Design and develop tooling solutions to support current and future repair needs.
- Utilize solid modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) for design and engineering purposes.
- Supervise and mentor technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment.
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a strong culture of compliance with safety standards.
- Drive sales growth and develop strategic customer relationships.
- Coordinate and execute planning, project management, and workflow optimization.
