As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and tasks, helping you develop valuable skills and expand your knowledge.
Location: Positions available in Brown Deer and Hartford, WI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running samples/Experiments to investigate problems
- Working with Prototyping
- Optimizing parameters for the Investment Casting process
- Assist with the introduction and concurrent engineering of new parts
- Collect process data and review customer returns
- Capstone Research Project
Process Engineer (Materials Engineer)
Works with the process of parts, including mold setup, gate design, solidification modeling, standard practice development, heat treat parameters, giving good technical service to customers, and working with suppliers on quality. Optimize processes and process materials (including wax, ceramic, Ferrous, Aluminum, and some nickel and cobalt alloys) to ensure high-quality castings.
Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)
Handles new product launches, managing projects from the design stage, all the way through shipping. Including tooling, fixtures, gauging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, costs, profitability, and customer contact/correspondence. While working with customers on the part design, rapid prototyping, tooling (fixturing & gauging), dimensional approval, production routings, schedules, cost, profitability, and finishing processes.
Manufacturing Engineer (Industrial Engineer)
Supporting the engineering needs of the customers on all existing production products. Handles new part launches, ensuring the achievement of production objectives at the lowest cost consistent with the company's quality standards and customer delivery needs. Manage projects from the design stage, all the way through shipping. Including tooling, fixtures, gauging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, costs, profitability, and customer contact.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgical or Ceramics Engineering, Industrial Engineering

- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
