How You Will Make An Impact
We are looking for a curious and motivated high school student with an interest in electrical engineering to join our team as a co-op. This position offers hands-on exposure to real engineering projects, mentorship from professionals, and an introduction to the tools and techniques used in the electrical engineering field.
This position will begin in June 2026 with the student continuing to work through the 2026 school year.
Examples Include
- Assist engineers and technicians with simple electrical or electronics projects.
- Learn about basic circuit design, wiring, and testing procedures.
- Help with organizing tools, materials, and project documentation.
- Shadow engineers during site visits, testing, or design meetings.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
- Explore software used in the engineering field (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or circuit simulation tools).
- Currently enrolled in high school (Junior or Senior year preferred).
- Interest in electrical engineering, robotics, or related STEM fields.
- Completed or currently taking courses in physics, math, or technology education.
- Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work well with others.
Compensation Range
$14.50 - $17.50 - $21.50/hour
This compensation range represents the minimum, midpoint and maximum pay for this position. Individual offers will be based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, education, skills, competencies, and experience. Please note that most offers for new employees fall under the midpoint of the range, allowing room for continued salary growth. Base pay is just one component of our total compensation package, which may also include comprehensive benefits, generous paid time off and incentive compensation (bonus) potential.
