We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering BOM Specialist
to manage and maintain all product data structures within our ERP system, supporting efficient manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management. This role is critical to ensuring accurate representation of assemblies, parts, and manufactured items, and will serve as a key liaison between engineering, production control, and manufacturing.
- Maintain all product data structures in the ERP system (Infor Syteline), ensuring accurate representation of assemblies, components, and finished goods.
- Enter and maintain product data including BOMs, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Work Instructions (WIs), and integrate existing manufacturing processes into Syteline ERP.
- Develop and manage production routers, labor task structures, and labor hour entries within ERP.
- Perform cost roll-ups for all manufactured product structures, including sub-assemblies and parent items, incorporating current BOM costs for materials and labor.
- Execute current-to-standard cost roll-ups for new or revised manufactured products.
- Revise BOM structures following migration from TERP to Syteline ERP.
- Act as a liaison between Manufacturing/Engineering teams and ERP consultants during Watermark ERP Infor Syteline implementation.
- Manage the release of complete production data packages, including serial numbers, drawing revisions, BOMs, routers, and associated documentation for code and non-code vessels, tanks, and skidded assemblies.
- Enter BOMs for Long Lead Item releases based on engineering input for production control and supply chain planning.
- Support planning and execution of Make to Stock (MTS), Make to Order (MTO), and Engineer to Order (ETO) production strategies.
- Collaborate with supply chain team members to ensure effective Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP).
- Contribute to the future implementation of the CPQ module for pressure vessels, including paint/coating options and optional equipment configurations.
- Serve as backup for ERP Item Master data entry.
- Provide backup drawing checking support during peak project periods.
- Self-starter that demonstrates initiative; ability to take direction and act independently
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Infor Syteline ERP and CADLink integration.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and product lifecycle management.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of piping and pipe schedules, flanges, fittings, valves and instruments used in oilfield production equipment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office; outlook, excel, word)
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Must possess good time management and prioritizing skills.
- Must possess good multi-tasking skills.
- Strong safety awareness.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Or, 3+ years of experience in BOM management and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.Physical demands

Work Environment
: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office. The noise level in the work environment will require hearing protection when in the manufacturing shops. Occasionally the employee may need to engage manufacturing workers in their work environment.
