The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $85,900 to $107,375.
The engineer will review, analyze, and coordinate moderate to complex planned construction projects, maintenance requirements and responses to system disturbances related to the operation of the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) System. Approve planned outages and clearance requests. Coordinate work with other departments within UI and other outside system operators (e.g., ISO, CONVEX, NUSCO). Work is to be completed with minimal guidance. The incumbent must be available for on-call, as necessary.

Education & Experience Required BS/BA Degree Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university plus 2-5+ years’ experience performing engineering duties or an A.S. Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university plus 9 years’ experience in Engineering with UI Engineering Training Curriculum (e.g., ECNE-PUI) or equivalent is required.
