- Project scoping

Substation Engineering

- Project scoping

- Technical drawings development and review

- Grounding, Lightning shielding, and lighting studies

- Standards and policies application

- Engineering consultant oversight

- Material identification and ordering

- Field visits (~10% travel)

Transmission Line Engineering

- Plan and scope T-Line projects

- Communicate with stakeholders

- Structure type selection

- Geotechnical Report evaluation

- Design of multiple foundation types

- Wire tension & clearance evaluation

- PLS-CADD Design

- Develop Construction Packages

- Construction support

- Engineering consultant oversight

- Perform field visits (~10% travel)

Civil/Site Engineering

- Site grading design

- Road design

- Stormwater management design

- Erosion Control design

- Engineering consultant oversight

- Coordinate Retaining Wall Design

- Stormwater permitting support

- Ordering survey

- Ordering geotechnical borings

- Construction monitoring/support

- Perform field visits (~10% travel)

Geotechnical Engineering

- Research Geologic Hazards

- Plan Subsurface Investigations

- Review Geotechnical Reports

- Foundation type selection

- Foundation Design

- Retaining Wall Design

- Landslide Mitigation

- Support Civil Grading Designs

- Construction monitoring/support

- Consultant oversight

- Perform field visits (~20% travel)

Structural Engineering

- Project scoping

- Technical drawings development and review

- Oil Containment Design

- Standards and policies application

- Engineering consultant oversight

- Foundation, rigid-bus and structure calculations

- Compliance activities adherence

- Project management

- Learning and development

- Field visits (~10% travel)

Note: This posting represents multiple positions posted in a range. The final grade and compensation offered will be based on the successful candidate's education, experience, and relevant skills.

What We're Looking For:

Engineer Assc/ Eng Tech Assc (Grade 05) $79,000 - $82,000

- This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* - Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.

Engineer / Engineer Tech (Grade 06-07): $82,000 - $105,000

- Has typically acquired two - four (2-4) or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* - Individuals with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at Grade 06 level.

- ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

Acceptable alternatives are:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. OR

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.

NOTE: ABET accredited program requirement may be waived at the discretion of VP or Executive level and above based on relevant qualifications and experience.
