We are seeking an Energy Engineer/Energy Manager
to lead energy management projects for commercial and multifamily residential buildings in NYC. The role covers the full project lifecycle—from building assessments to project development and construction support.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience conducting building surveys of
mechanical/HVAC,
lighting, and
envelopesystems. Experience with
Local Law 87or retro-commissioning is a plus.
The candidate should also have experience developing
decarbonization project plansbased on existing equipment configurations and conditions. They will work with manufacturers and vendors to implement
HVAC and heat pump solutions,
building controls optimizations, and
LED lighting retrofitsto help buildings meet
Local Law 97requirements. The candidate will also manage project documentation and support the development of technical solutions.
Strong communication skills are essential
—the candidate will coordinate with
owners, property managers, vendors, manufacturers, and contractorsand should have proven experience managing these relationships to meet stakeholder needs.
The candidate should excel at
organizing filesand
managing complex project documentation. Proximity within
~30 minutes of NYCis required for site visits.
