As an Emissions Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Company in maintaining compliance with Local, State, and Federal air emissions laws. You will perform and document emissions tests using a portable analyzer and be a resource for other personnel in matters pertaining to emissions and engine performance.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

✔️ Performs periodic emissions tests. Responsible for following the testing schedule set forth by the Regulatory Department.

✔️ Coordinates with customers regarding compliance emissions tests performed by third party testers. Assists with the test as appropriate.

✔️ Diagnoses engine conditions and adjust and/or repair as necessary to achieve satisfactory performance both during and between emissions tests.

✔️ Maintains testing equipment including calibrations and maintenance; includes maintaining sufficient calibration gasses.

✔️ Trains other team members regarding engine adjustment and performance. Assists service technicians.

Qualifications

About You (Qualifications & Experience)

We are looking for dedicated individuals who bring expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic to our team. Ideal candidates will have:

✅ High school diploma or general degree (GED)

✅ Minimum of three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

✅ Natural gas engine Compressor Service experience

✅ Experience with modern engines and compressors used in the natural gas industry

✅ The ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

✅ Basic math skills

✅ Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities

Your Work Schedule & Hours

- Work shifts up to 12 hours

- Overtime as needed

- 5/2 Schedule

- Hours may vary based on operational needs
