Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for assessing patients, providing immediate medical attention, and ensuring paitent care until safe transport to healthcare facilities is arranged.

Duties

- Perform patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care needed

- Administer basic life support and advanced airway management as required

- Provide critical care transport for patients needing specialized medical attention

- Conduct physical examinations and vital signs monitoring

- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals

- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection

- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in medical records

Requirements

- Valid EMT certification with experience in emergency care

- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment

- Strong skills in patient care and performing physical examinations

- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor in emergencies

- Physical capability to lift heavy loads and remain on your feet for extended periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
